Monster data shows that retailers are on track to increase holiday jobs this season. Here are a few companies offering seasonal employment.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on the jobs front, as seasonal hiring is well underway at many companies nationwide.
In a Monster analysis of data using the CEB TalentNeuron tool, hiring for 2017 seasonal jobs is already seeing a 3.8% year-over-year increase from 2016, with 75,255 job ads for seasonal positions in September. That number is only expected to grow, as hiring for holiday jobs typically increases month-over-month in October, with 81,392 lob listings for seasonal employment posted last year.
So which type of seasonal jobs can you expect to find under the Christmas tree? For starters, you’ll want to look beyond the traditional retail associate (although, you can certainly find those jobs, too) and consider jobs in warehouses and transportation as well as remote jobs, as the e-commerce market continues to expand.
“As holiday shopping habits turn virtual, retailers are responding by hiring more warehouse and transport workers,” according to a statement by global outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.“While retail hiring has fallen over the last couple years, major announcements indicate workers will still be needed for customer-facing positions, as retailers attempt to give consumers an experience they cannot receive online.”
Check our list of jobs below to see which companies are making the biggest hiring pushes this holiday season—and be sure to check back often, as we’ll be updating this list periodically throughout the remainder of the year. As of Sept. 27, here are the companies hiring now:
